Course Description
This beginner-level course is designed to teach students the fundamentals of Quranic Arabic through the Madani Qaida. It builds a solid foundation for reading the Quran fluently and correctly.
Learning Objectives
- Recognize Arabic alphabets and correct pronunciation.
- Learn vowels, symbols, and basic Tajweed rules.
- Join letters to form words and read short verses.
- Build confidence in reading the Quran independently.
Course Content
- Arabic alphabet recognition
- Harakaat (Zabar, Zair, Pesh) and Sukoon
- Tanween, Shaddah, and Madd
- Practice joining letters into words
- Reading short verses and Surahs
Assessment and Grading
- Alphabet and symbol tests: 40%
- Reading practice: 40%
- Final reading test: 20%
